Krush-EX 2023 vol. 1 - 2022-02-11
GEN Sports Palace, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan
Krush-EX is the sub-show for Krush, which is the sub-show of K-1. As such, the fighter records and profiles leave a little to be desired. The most promising prospect on the card is 19-year old Hiroshi, who has a record of 4-1-1. He fought 4-3 fighter Shion to a draw at Krush-EX in November and his loss came back in April when he was disqualified after 3 accidental blows to the groin of Shota Suzuki. Hiroshi takes on 2-6-1 Yuki Toyoda in the semi-final as K-1 continues their attempt to build him up. For the main event, Kazuki Matsumoto started 2-0 in Krush-EX in 2022, but then went up to Krush and went 0-2 so he’s back in Krush-EX. His opponent, Shuta Tanaka, started 0-2 in Krush-EX in 2021 and went out and collected 2 wins in KROSSxOVER in 2022, so he is returning to Krush-EX.
