ONE Friday Fights 3 - 2022-02-03

Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand

This week’s show has a full royal sampler: 7 Muay Thai fights, 3 MMA fights, and a kickboxing bout. The main event sees Chorfah Tor.Sangtiennoi (0-1 in ONE) facing off with newcomer PetchSukhumvit BoyBangna. Chorfah had a record of 3-3-1 in 2022 and lost his ONE debut via KO to Tagir Khalilov in December. PetchSukhumvit is the current Rajadamnern Stadium Super Featherweight champion. He lost his first challenge in 2021 to Yodthongthai but when the title was vacated he was able to capture it in March 2022 over Ploywittiya and then defended it in June over Yodwittaya.

ONE Muay Thai: Regular fights 3 rounds of 3 minutes, title fights 5 rounds of 3 minutes. Scored on the 10-Point Must System, but judges must declare a winner if the points are even at the end of the fight. 3 knockdowns in a round is a TKO. Elbows allowed, no throws, no grappling. Fighters fight in the 4 oz. MMA gloves instead of boxing gloves. ONE referees tend to break up the clinch almost immediately instead of letting the fighters work out of it.

ONE MMA: Regular fights 3 rounds of 5 minutes, title fights 5 rounds of 5 minutes. Bout scored in its entirety, not round-by-round. Knees to the head of a grounded opponent are legal, soccer kicks are not.

ONE Kickboxing: Regular fights 3 rounds of 3 minutes, title fights 5 rounds of 3 minutes. Scored on the 10-Point Must System. 3 knockdowns in a round is a TKO. Elbows are not allowed, no throws, no grappling. Fighters use 8/10-ounce boxing gloves.
